SPD sufferer - looking for an Osteopath or Chiropractor in Putney area

Hi there,

can anyone recommend an Osteopath or Chiropractor in the Putney area (or thereabouts) who can help with my SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction)?

I'm only 23 weeks and its already started. I would love to nip it before it gets too bad.

Many thanks

Just wondering if you ever found anyone as am in exactly the same position myself and with a toddler to look after too daren't let it get any worse.

I use Spiro on the High Street and have done through both my pregnancies -- have been very happy. I didn't have SPD though (did have some SPD-like twinges last time, but they never seemed to progress). They have a big box of toys to keep toddlers occupied, too...

Julian Keel at Barnes Chiropractic Healthcare is great. Good info on his website about SPD too: www.barnes-chiropractic.co.uk

Both my pregnancies have been brilliantly comfortable because of his wonderful treatment and my labours both amazing. He's very knowledgeable about SPD.

Also has plenty of toys to keep toddlers happy whilst you're having treatment!!

He's at 43 Barnes High Street, tel 020 8878 7887.

Best wishes

Hi
I also see Adam Beaumont at Neal's Yard Therapy Rooms in Northcote Road SW11 and can highly recommend him. Have been seeing him for years for myself and both my children. He is highly professional and extremely helpful with all sorts of problems relating to pregnancy, children and adults. I'm in SW18 and travel to see him.

I would recommend giving Naval Mair at the Battersea Osteopathic clinic in Webbs Road SW11 a call www.tbops.com . He was trained by and recommended by the man who fixed my SPD at the British School of Osteopathy (internationally renowned osteo but he doesn't practise locally). I have subsequently gone to Naval for years and he is brilliant.

I would highly recommend Craig Coman at Chelsea Natural Health on the Fulham Road near Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. www.chelseanaturalhealth.co.uk/category/practitioners/craig-coman
He's amazing and really helped me with my SPD!!
