Help! How can i get from Inverness to Fraserburgh using public transport?

Looks like it would have to be a train down to Elgin, but I can't find any public transport from there to Fraserburgh. Would I need to travel to Aberdeen first and then on to Fraserburgh from there?

anyone? have googled but can't find anything, which is very strange

Have you looked on stagecoach bluebird? If you train it from Inverness there hould be a bus from Aberdeen?
