Petition re: demolition of Clapton tram depot workshops

For those who aren't aware, Hackney Council are planning to demolish the old Clapton Tram Depot site, currently home to a range of small businesses, and build (yes, you've guessed it) flats. If you want to register your opposition, sign the petition here:

Hey, have just signed this as I live really nearby and I really don't want to see this site developed. I'd love to see it regenerated and the small creative businesses in there encouraged.

Can anyone let me know any more about how the public meeting went or how the application is going?
