2 and half yr old boy help potty training

My 2 and half yr old son is not interested in being potty trained. the problem I have is he is nearly out grown the last size nappies!!!!! (size 6) what cant i do? I ve tried everything so far

Have you used the reward idea - he is now old enough to understand a reward for doing something good. My son is nearly 2 and a half and almost fully potty trained and he loves the praise he gets from using the toilet and the occasional sweet treat or star. Also does he have friends who are potty trained? Nothing like competition between friends who feel left out if the other one is asking to use the toilet! Good luck.
