budget wedding reception venues in Cardiff

Hello.

Am having a small wedding, no big meal etc.

We're looking at the Norwegian church in the bay for a knees up, buffet, party etc but would be interested in any other suggestions...

Llandaf rowing club?

Basically we want to do this as cheaply as possible so can anyone suggest places?

The Mackintosh Centre in Roath? I've been to a couple of good parties there - especially summer as it's got an outdoor bit. When's the wedding?

You could take over a whole restaurant if there's enough of you? Where's your favourite place?

Norwegian Church would be lovely though.

I hired out Cardiff Bay yacht club once when organised a works party it was fab. I used Llandaff rowing club for my evening do and that was good. We got married in City Hall and they have great rooms of various sizes to hire and fairly cheap to...at least they were 8 years ago when we tied the knot.
Can really recommend Cresta Catering for food, had those for our wedding and hired them for works functions too.
