I have to say that the leader of the gang (of 2 !) is about to move back to Brazil but I actually have the other lady and she is carrying on with someone else.

I will CAT you all - Jura I think I might still have your email from our talks about schools so will send it on that if I have it. In return are you able to recommend me a piano tuner in the area ?

I also have an ironing lady (I think the cleaners would also iron but I already had the ironing lady and didn't think it was fair to get rid of her) and I rang her on the back of a leaflet I was handed in the street.

ooo - I can do piano tuner. let me go and dig him out. as it were.

just found his card and am a bit suprised that he's not all that local. but he was recommended to us by the Piano Workshop in Reigate - where we bought our piano - and I'm sure we used him. He's called J.W.Armer and his number is 01737 352408 - based in Banstead (wherever that is)

hee hee jura ! I am rather taken by his website - it doesn't sound like he'll run away laughing when he sees our piano and may be able to sort it out a bit. Also, he looks like a piano tuner .

that piano tuner looks ace. won't be able to use him - we're moving in 3 months so will need to get it tuned up north
