Has anyone been to the space centre in Leicester?

My son will be six in a few weeks and I was wondering whether it would be a nice day out for him. Is it good value for money? Your thoughts would be really appreciated, thanks

Haven't been for a few years but thought it was fab when we did go. I can't remember how much it was but it seemed value for money; the cafe was rubbish though, so take a picnic or go for yummy curry in Leicester afterwards!

i agree...cafe is very poor. The actual centre is very good, your 6 year old will enjoy life size rockets and the planeterium is worthwhile.
