mother and toddler groups

Can anyone recommend any m&t groups in brighton or hove? I am new to the area. I have a toddler and a baby of 8 months. So something suitable for both, thanks!

I like the toddler group at St Nicholas' church - Tuesday mornings during termtime. There are also groups at Holland Road Baptist Church on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

I think there is a drop in at the Tarner Children's Centre on a Friday - I haven't tried this, but it is meant to be ok (art activities I think).

The singing sessions at the libraries get really busy.

The ABC guide lists all the groups - you can pick this up at the library.

There are lots of groups in Preston Park too, but I don't know about those, sorry!

There is a good group at St Matthias church on Ditchling road near 5 ways on Thursday mornings at 10. Good for toddlers and babies- just drop in.

I live near preston park, so ditchling road is quite near. Do you go to the m&t at st matthias church? Is it open during the summer hols?

I do go sometimes- not every week as ds still sometimes naps in the mornings. I have assumed that it isn't on during the summer hols as it hasn't been on during half terms etc in the past (it is run by people who have school age dcs I think).
