Hi all,

Wondered if anyone fancied meeting for a coffee at mine in the next week or so?

I can introduce all to E

I'm happy to host - can do this Thurs (28th) would just need to cart you all off by 2 as have Health Visitor coming, or can do following Thurs?

I can do other days too if Thurs doesn't suit everyone

XxXx

mrs magoo I wont be able to make it on Friday...sorry. Hope to meet you soon.

JentlyDoesIt · 02/09/2008 20:40

I think she IS the cleaning company Lucy! Her name is Lisa and she is fab. Oooh, yes, a taster would be fab, I am partial to a drop of the stuff

MadameCastafiore · 03/09/2008 12:27

Sorry guys can't come this week - having a bit of a crap time with health - don't know why just feel awful and wouldn't want to spread anything - post hol blues maybe - am hoping to start being normal again next week when both kids are at school and will make effort to come and see little one then!

(Twinkie)

pooter · 03/09/2008 13:30

Jently - does she come once a fortnight then? How many hours etc. I am on the cusp of getting rid of Pat! she didnt empty the hoover yesterday and seems to wander round with a cloth in her hand not doing very much

MadameTwinkie, i hope you feel better soon xx

SparklyPrincess · 03/09/2008 14:04

Wow - both kids at school ... all the best to DS on his first day!

Saying that, DD1 had first day at nursery today, and it wasn't her that was crying. I was very subtle though, not sobbing in the hallway!

Hope you're feeling better soon, think we've mostly missed each other this summer.

Might be brave and host in the next few weeks...

MrsMagooo · 03/09/2008 14:45

Sorry to hear that MadameC hope you're soon feeling better

Mung No worries - look forward to meeting you another time

Sawyer are you joining us for cookies & cuddles?? (Cuddles with DS not with me obviously)

Any more for any more??

If not, Pooter & Jently looks like more cookies for us

XxXx

I enjoyed my cuddle today very much! DD's cuppa that she made me was just as good as the one DH made for me

Pooter - I pay £35 per time and yes, she is fortnightly. Price depends on size of house, no of bedrooms etc.

MC - hope you feel better soon and hope DS is enjoying school.

SP - hope DD1 gets on ok too - well done for not blubbing loudly

See you on Friday

purpleflower · 03/09/2008 15:02

I should be able to make it on friday but I will need directions although thinking about it I may be able to get a train.

That's if I don't go into labour before, I had a night of medium pain contractions last night but then nothing since but if I can hold on to friday I can have my homebirth

Hope you feel better soon MadameC.

I am very jealous about all this talk of good cleaners, I should really sack mine as she is lazy but then I can't really sack myself can I

Sawyer64 · 03/09/2008 15:10

MrsM I'd love to come for an hour or so,as I have to drop DD's off at CM at 12.00 in Colchester.

Whereabouts are you? How long will it take from Colchester roughly? If you give me a postcode my sat nav will find you.

Looking forward to the cuddles.....

SP Hope DD1 enjoyed Myland.
Poor you,it is hard isn't it.I've got the first day of school to dread look forward to,coming up fast now!

See (some of) you Friday am. then.

Jently you did very well to not swollow the sand in the bottom of DD's cup lol - she caught me out with that once lol!!

Purpleflower if you do decide to get the train it's a really straight forward journey & the train station is literally at the end of our road - the trains run at the bottom of our garden

Sorry, I have felt really rough today so I think it's best I give tommorrow a miss.

Hopefully I will see you soon

pooter · 05/09/2008 00:21

ARe you still on for tomorrow jently?
I will pick you up at 9.15. Hope so anyway 'cos you know the way and i dont!

see you tomorrow mrsM

lucyfer2000 · 05/09/2008 09:41

hello mrsmagoo,

i was hoping to be able to come along today, but i think it will be too much of a rush for us. Things will be quite tight all the time DD is only doing half days. Will probably be easier once we are in a routine....!!

She did have a really good day at school yesterday though and so hopefully it will stay like that once the novelty wears off !!

JentlyDoesIt · 05/09/2008 14:08

Thank you Mrs M for a splendid time - even if your DD and my DS were intent on wrecking the joint!

Lucy - saw my cleaner today and she said she was coming to see you - perhaps I should be on commission! Glad DD had a good first day

Sawyer64 · 05/09/2008 20:37

Seconded Jentlydoesit!

Lovely morning MrsM,sorry it was so brief.Lovely to meet you and your DC's.Thanks for the cuddles little E!

Thanks Pooter for playing so well with DD1,she's still talking about it!

Glad DD1 is enjoying school Lucyfer.

MrsMagooo · 06/09/2008 09:14

You're welcome

We had a lovely morning!!

Pooter Sawyer lovely to meet you both & your gorgeouds DC's

Jently your DS & my DD did make me giggle - that look of 'What me?' always make me chortle At least they played nicely together even if it was poking things in the DVD player (Although it was mainly my DD poking things, your DS was dusting for me with the pastry brush - should get him to do my whole lounge for me next time )

Lucy Glad DD had a good first day

Purple hope you're feeling a bit better

Xx

Hi Mrs M, Thanks for having DS and me over - little E is beautiful and your DD is just lovely!! From my DS's jealous behaviour when i had my all too brief hold of E, i dont think we are ready to add to the pooter household just yet . (cue loud crying and trying to scramble onto my knees and on top of E by DS)

Im thinking of you purpleflower - hope things go ultra smoothly xxx

Sawyer i enjoyed the pepper pig games as much as your DD (well - the first thousand times anyway!! ) and cant wait until my DS wants me to play with him like that!

I'm not going to be around for a week as we are going to centre parcs - the ultimate symbol of domesticity!! no backbacking for me anymore!! so have a lovely week everyone - dont have too much fun without me, and i will see you soon. xxx

MrsMagooo · 08/09/2008 10:49

Aawww Pooter if it's any consulation DD acted pretty much the same way our first week at home with E - she also threw a massive tantrum that lasted an hour & involved throwing her toys etc!!!!

Needless to say she's much better now

Have a lovely time at CP
