Moving to meadow bank!!

I moved to edinburgh 2 years ago after staying in east kilbride for most my life. Me and my dp have been movin since we got here! What do we all think of the meadow bank area?

Close to the Queen's Park (with lakes and swans)
Has the sports centre (if its still open!)
Not too far from Commonwealth Pool
Near the beach (Portobello)
Good bus routes.
Lots of old-style tenements (nice)
