School mania

Does anyone have a recommendation or any comments about school's in Wimbledon? I have a 16 month old and am baffled by the whole English school system but keep being warned to get my baby's name down .. .especially as ideally I'm looking for an all girl's Catholic school ... probably asking too much?

Holy Cross Prep? Not in Wimbledon so would be a short trip for you but is all girls and Catholic - v competitive and excellent reputation - not for us so don't know any more (we are aiming for W High/the Study instead as both will be walking distance from home). Hope this helps. Have you got nurseries sorted?! Worth putting her down for the Study as well perhaps?
