Think my ante-natal yoga teacher, Arlene Dunkley -Wood might do cranial stuff. She is in North Chingford. Google her name to check.

If not, I have taken two of my children to the Osteopathic Children's Centre in Clerkenwell. Thought it was fantastic and you only pay what you can afford - so it is perfectly acceptable to pay nothing although some people often pay a lot more because they are so happy with the treatment. Can't imagine how they keep going sometimes though. Worth checking out. Really helped enormously - one with sleep settling and the other with a blocked tear duct - cured without the NHS surgery scheduled.

the natural health place (osteopaths, etc) on St Mary Road in E17 is supposed to have a good cranial osteopath - I think it's on the map of local services..

A bit late for the original poster, but might help other people. We saw Leticia at The Health Works in Walthamstow and thought she was fab!

We went because of DS's colic and she said she'd only need 3 sessions with him (reassuring to know from the outset that we wouldn't be coming back indefinitely). The first time she said he had headaches due to the ventouse at birth and that she'd fixed it. We didn't notice any change but there were still lots of other problems so it's hard to know. The next time she said she'd resolve his problems latching on, and the next day he was latching on perfectly first time, every time. After the third session, she said she'd done what she could for his wind/colic problems and that night he started spontaneously burping after feeds - no more colic!

She also diagnosed his silent reflux and once we knew about it, we could manage it. The combination of curing the colic and diagnosing the reflux totally changed his quality of life. I can't rave enough about the difference she made to our house - no more crying baby, no more stressed and frustrated parents!

Again, this may be too late but Steve at the Walthamstow Osteopath clinic on St Mary Road in the Village is brilliant. He's used cranial osteopathy on both my sons (night terrors with DS1 and colic wtih DS2), to great effect and treats me and my DH too. He also uses accupuncture as pain relief. I think he costs £40 for initial consultation and £38 per session after that.
