Haven't eaten at The Jam House myself but have heard mixed reviews from friends; food is generally nice but some meals were verging on the bland side and portions are really miniscule. Service can be a bit sporadic.
Great restaurants nearby I can recommend are Fishers in the City and Dusit, both in Thistle Street Lane.
