Mother & baby groups

Hi, am keen to get out of the house & am wondering does anyone know of any Mother & Baby groups in Edinburgh? (preferably South Edinburgh) The only one I know of is the Baxter one at the Ocean Terminal, but that's a bit too far of a drive.

Hi there. THe Morningside group is run by Patchwork (NHS sponsored) and is at 10.30am on a Friday. It is for mums and babies under one. It is at the Morningside Baptist Church just next to Luca's ice cream cafe.

Im looking for one in newhaven/ leith that is not a Tuesday or a Friday my LO is 8 months old!

I am looking for a baby parent group in around Meadowbank area. Or in Portobello. I found a group in Leith (Newkirkgate, the community centre)but unless you are fluend in Polish no point going there... Thursday at ten am.

Hi everyone,

I am fundraising for a scout expidition where we will undertake charity projects for Mongolian children (www.3nations.org.uk). Part of my fundraising means I have become an Usborne Representative. If any of you have been to a Body Shop/Anne Summers party, it's like that apart from it's with Usborne books.

I can come to your house or meeting place and give a demonstration of what books Usborne have to offer (everything from "that's not my... series to reference books for teenagers). And if anyone wants to buy any books, they can. Of course they don't have to but they do make good Christmas presents!
