Mrs BG, I know you, so I'll look out for you! Everyone else, I have a green and red pram, so if I'm wandering round looking like billy no mates, grab me!

MrsRecycle · 15/07/2008 20:48

So 8 now:

MrsRecycle (bringing dds 10,7, ds22m)
MrsBakerGirl
Ladyface
BlimeyOReily
Chloemegjess
LadyG (fingers' crossed she will be otherwise engaged)
Little1
snagalpuss

would love to join you on the walk but ds would take 2 hours to walk round so won't risk it.

Looking forward to meeting you Little1 and snagalpuss

little1 · 16/07/2008 14:11

Sounds like a good idea. I haven't been there before but I'm sure find my way around. I'll look out for MrsBakerGirl & Snagalpuss. See you all there.

MrsBakerGirl · 16/07/2008 16:44

Hi!

Sorry chloemegjess - I didn't notice the thread was on a second page when I posted my last message - wasn't ignoring your message!

Great you are joining us for a walk!

hunkermunker · 16/07/2008 16:48

I was there today with UrbanDryad - lovely place. Am working tomorrow or I'd join you. Waters Edge is a carvery now - looked lovely. There's other food too, but didn't stop and look at a menu.

The train was running today too.

Have fun (and hello, MrsR - DS is 22mo - no way!).

MrsRecycle · 16/07/2008 17:12

hiya hunker - how are you? Its not tomorrow its next Thursday - are you free then? Would be nice to catch up with you (and UrbanDryad).

yes ds is 22m and turning into a terror.

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 17/07/2008 08:39

Aw, no, sorry - will be working. Will mention it to UD though - not sure which days she works.

Ladyface · 21/07/2008 21:00

I've two others coming along with me now as well. Should be quite a crowd of us!

MrsRecycle · 22/07/2008 10:41

oh that's good Ladyface. I'll be bringing another LO with me - so 4 in all.

Looks like we'll have good weather as well.

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 22/07/2008 16:44

Yes I just looked at the weather and I think thursday will be the best day all week!

I will be bringing my 6month old DD with me for the list!

So Are we eating at the waters edge or just going for a walk and a coffe?

MrsRecycle · 22/07/2008 17:37

I'm up for eating - save me cooking later on.

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 22/07/2008 18:28

Great, I am up for eating too. My DD isn't always he best behaved when we are eating, but I dont mind if you don't. She is like it at home too so makes no difference to me! She loves other children though so might be ok if she can see kids!

MrsRecycle · 23/07/2008 07:41

oh dd2 was like that - we decided to stop eating out around 18m. She was awful and such an embarassment. But dd1 and dd2 will be able to look after her (great babysitters!).

Glad you got back ok.

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 23/07/2008 08:18

Yer, she doesnt scream the place down or anything, she is just constantly wanting to be doing something. So might sit in a highchair for 10mins, but will soon be board! She also likes standing, but can't do that without holing on to something!

MrsRecycle · 23/07/2008 08:20

Oh I have just the answer, a cup of ice - it used to keep dd2 entertained just enough for us to eat our meals.

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 23/07/2008 08:44

really? Will have to try that!

chloemegjess · 23/07/2008 22:20

Hi, not 100% that I am coming now im afraid. DD i getting her first tooth and has been an absolute nightmare today. If she is still like this tomorrow, there is not much point in me coming as I wont be able to enjoy it.

I will text MrsR if I am not coming so you know not to expect me.

MrsR - If i don't come tomorrow, I can drop off the pass to you at home if you like?

MrsRecycle · 24/07/2008 08:35

ohno chloe - sorry to hear about dd. If you could drop the pass off, that would be great, thanks!

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 24/07/2008 10:33

Ok, I won't be coming today, as DD is not a happy bunny at all! Its a shame as I had looked forward to it!

I know roughly where you live MrsR but donnt actually know your address? Maybe you could email it to me? When do you need it by?

MrsBakerGirl · 24/07/2008 19:35

Hi ladies!

Lovely to meet you all today. Sorry I had to rush off but I think they had enough of sitting in their seats in the heat. They were happy as larry once I whacked up the air con in the car.

Maybe we could do an evening meet up soon if anyone fancies it???

chloemegjess · 24/07/2008 22:07

Sorry I didnt make it, it was a shame as it sounds like you all had a good time!

I have started a thread about my Usborne books at home party on thursday if anybody would like to come?

MrsRecycle · 25/07/2008 08:21

lovely to meet you all yesterday - sorry you weren't there chloe - how's dd today?

An evening meet-up sounds good - although probably the first week in August (if its alright with dh).

blimey - had a lovely walk/talk, nice to meet you.

OP posts:
chloemegjess · 25/07/2008 12:30

MrsR - Elouise is not a happy bunny at all! Turns out she has tonsillitis! We took her to hospital last night with a temperature of 105 (which we did several things to brng it down with no sucsess). She was vomitting (litterally throwing it accross the room!). Feel so sorry for her! As soon as the Doctor put the stick in her mouth to have a look at her, she went bright re and screamed. He said she has pussy white spots all over the back of her throat/tonsils.

So its good I didnt come - or all your children would probably have caught it!

MrsRecycle · 25/07/2008 12:56

oh no chloe, poor thing but Hillingdon is good for immediately diagnosing the problem isn't it? Hope the anti-Bs kick in soon.
