Hiya ladies,

I was wondering if any of you fancied a meet up my way?

I'm more then happy to host it at my house if you fancy that?

Have a spacious garden for the kiddies to play in - plenty of toys to keep them occupied

I do have a dog but I can pop him in the kitchen (has a baby gate on it) his bark can be a bit loud but I promise you the worst he would do is dribble on you rolls eyes but I won't let him out the kitchen if anyone doesn't like dogs.

Depending on what shift my DH is on he might be pottering about the morning but he doesn't bite either

Anyway - enough waffle if anyone fancies it give me a shout

XxXx

Ps Only subject to change if Little Man tries to escape again but I would let you knoe if he did lol!

I could get to you on Thursday morning (would only have DD as DS would be at nursery) - which station is the one near you? I can bring biscuits too!

Hiya Jently,

It's Kirby Cross station it literally runs at the bottom of our garden

Yay to the biscuits too - you know the way to a PG ladies heart

Miranda - Hope SD goes well & the weather is goregous for it!

Ok, have just looked at trains. It might be a bit early for you, but I could get the 9.07 train from Colchester and be at Kirby cross for 9.30? The next one is an hour later and then I would only have an hour with you as I need to collect DS at 1, meaning I have to get the 11.51 back - does this all make sense? Let me know...

eenybeeny · 30/06/2008 09:53

I would love to come as I am cursed with MN meet ups I've not been able to go to one for ages but this Thursday is DH's birthday and we are going to Easton Farm Park in Suffolk! (He doesnt know this yet its a surprise, for those of you who know him in RL!!)

Maybe I can host the next one here at my house?

Ok, MLP I'll see you on Thurs! Are you able to meet me at the station (as I don't have your address and may find climbing over your graden fence with DD in a sling quite difficult!)

I will be the short dumpy one with a little DD in a funky black and white sling

JentlyDoesIt · 30/06/2008 20:07

Mung - what's Hesfes???

MummyLovesPrams · 30/06/2008 20:11

Of course I can hun no worries at all (PMSL @ visions of you jumping over the back fence )

I'll be the woman with the massive bump - you can't miss me

Twinkie1 · 01/07/2008 12:56

Sorry love - DS has his preschool booster and I am taking him to see Kung Fu panda as a treat afterwards - am dreading it to be honest - the jab and the film but if I try aqnd fob him off so I can socialise I will never hear the end of it - and he is only 3!!!

MummyLovesPrams · 01/07/2008 13:59

LOL!

NW hun - another time!

Hope your DS's jab goes ok

Kung Fu Panda! Oh the joys I have to look forward to when DS is older!
MLP don't think I will be able to make it this week, was thinking of braving the journey by train but it takes forever and either 1 or 2 changes. Hope to meet you soon. Thinking of you today in this heat! xx

MummyLovesPrams · 01/07/2008 14:46

Hiya Saz,

NW hun I can understand that - where is you'd be coming from again?? You can get a train direct to mine from Colchester North if that's any help?

But I do understand - it can be a nightmare if you had to change loads & hang about at stations - especially with LO's in tow ;)

Thanks for thinking of me - I feel like I'm melting lol!!

Have an appt to get my hair cut in an hour & it's usually a 15 min walk - hhhmmmmm more likely to take me an hour with this sizeable bump & the heat lol!

Xx

I'm in Kelvedon MLP - the nationalrail website reckons it takes 45 minutes if I go back towards London and change at Witham then get a train to Thorpe-Le-Soken or somewhere to change again. I can go directly to Colchester North and change there but it takes much longer as there is a long wait for connecting train!

You're not even that far from me but it would be quicker for me to go to London! I really must get myself driving...

Poor you walking in this weather with bump...It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow thank goodness...I don't mind the hot weather but hate being stuck in the office unable to get out! Must get back to work...so dull here today...

MummyLovesPrams · 01/07/2008 17:31

Ahhh yes you're right would be 2 changes, yup Thorpe is just up the road from me but is such a crappy little station so I can completely understand you not fancying that train journey - especially in this weather!!

Oooo yay for a cooler day tomorrow he hee!!

MummyLovesPrams · 02/07/2008 08:52
