I used GrowWild (www.growwild.co.uk) for a time and liked the fact that there were different types of boxes to choose from.

But they only delivered to my area on a Thursday afternoon, which wasn't really convenient because a lot of the veggies didn't get used over the weekend.

Also got a cabbage with a caterpillar in it which put me off, though guess that it proved it was fresh

I get one from East Coast Organics, arrives on a friday and haven't had any major problems. They have a stall at the farmers market too. www.eastcoastorganics.co.uk

I'd recommend East Coast Organics as well, been using them for 3 or 4 years now without any problems (though they've recently had to increase their prices).

I get a box from Phantassie and am very happy with it.

I left ECO actually as the quality of our box just went down and down. A friend who wishes to stop the scheme with them due to low quality contents is now having a nightmare with them refusing to return an overpayment or her box deposit. Awful - I would not recommend them at all.

A real shame as their stall at the farmers mkt is always lovely.

We're thinking of trying Damhead Organics instead.

How about Earthy? I've only recently moved back to Edinburgh, so haven't had a chance to try them, but I know one of the owners, and he is really lovely.

derelicte · 06/08/2008 10:23

Ah, just seen that their home delivery option is "coming soon". Maybe just watch this space then
