Decent B&B near Harrogate hospital?

Hi All,
We are booked to have our first baby at Harrogate in September. We live in a village miles away (sometimes over an hour's drive) and it would great to have the option for hubby to stay at a B&B or small hotel within walking distance of the hospital. Does anyone know somewhere close of a decent standard? Most search sites seem to show all the B&Bs in the town centre, which is not ideal. Anything closer? Has anyone else done something similar? I have some complications and have been told I'm likely to have a c-section, so we could be there for several days - just thinking ahead and wanting to be prepared!

there are lots on Kings Road which is a drive but not that far from the hospital?

there's one at top of Dragon Road (approx 10 minute walk?)

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site after hearing about it from a neighbour who I met on a website that has been set up in Harrogate called www.neighboursunited.co.uk.

Its a similar site to this, but allows you to meet and talk with neighbours and locals.

Does anyone else use it as it looks like it is starting to attract a lot of people onto it.
