People living in Beckenham Junction

Hi all,
I’m interested in getting a better sense of what it’s like around Worsley bridge Road, Beckenham junction. We live in SE and just visited Beckenham Jn once. I really liked its closeness to the High Street. How’s the traffic and general atmosphere there? especially during school hours? I’ve seen some mentions about speeding, so just wondering what the reality is from locals.

I work near to lower Sydenham and often drive from the Sains to Beckenham along Worsley bridge rd. During peak school times, it can get busy with traffic backing up at the junction with Southend Lane. There’s a bus route on the rd as well. I think it’s a 30 but might be a 20. I know that cars do speed along Copers Cote rd. I’ld suggest you walk the rd during school hours drop off and pickup.
