We are in the lovely but overwhelming position of needing to choose between these two schools. For every great point for one I think of another great point for the other.
for background me and my partner currently need before and after school care for two days a week we have secured place at St Peter’s currently but do have to pay even on the days we may not need it as we are shift workers so times vary. HF seems much more flexible with after school care and we worry if our jobs were to change what we would do for childcare not sure how long waiting lists for more days are at St, Peter’s?
Absolutely love the community vibe to st.peters school and the amount of amazing after school activities they have to offer however hf seem to put on many more amazing events for the children throughout the year. So they seem equally fun and parents form both have said they are lovely nurturing schools.
My daughters currently pretty shy of this makes any difference at all for the type of teaching at either school?
What is the homework workload like at both schools?
Id be so grateful to hear from parents with experience at one or both schools good or bad to help me make what feels like an impossible decision between two fantastic schools!
