Babysitting co-ops - what do you think?

Hi,

I recently came across this idea but haven't really found any information on a babysitting co-op in the area or in fact even in london. What are your thoughts and would you be interested? Basically a babysitting co-op is a group in which we babysit for each other without having to pay for it. Instead, we use the hours as points which we can redeem.

My post natal group has set up one of these (Raynes Park area) but I don't know whether anyone has used it yet. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic about the idea. I guess part of the attraction (beyond it being free!) is that you leave your LO with someone you know.

We have one in Motspur park although mainly just me and one friend swop now. Would welcome extra members!
