Recommendations for childminders and nurseries

Hi
I'm new to Mumsnet and looking for some advice on nurseries / childminders in the Wokingham/ Finchampstead areas. I have a 10 week old and planning ahead for August/September time where I'm hoping to find someone who accepts the government childcare voucher scheme. Haven't decided yet whether to go for a childminder or nursery but would be grateful for some recommendations from people who have had good experiences.

Hi Anna - I wonder if MNHQ could put your location in your thread title, it might catch the eye of someone local as it's such a large worldwide community on here. Are there any local area Facebook pages you can join? That might be a good place to ask, you may have already looked on childcare.co.uk - this is the best resource for childminders where I am based in SE London

FWIW in my opinion I did not want to have a nursery for my children, I preferred (and still do) the home from home feel of a childminder - but I think it is a very personal choice, and has a lot to do with the child in question!
