Loft Coversions- local recommendations?

We're planning to have our loft converted into bedroom with en-suite.
Friends have recommended a couple of companies but wondered whether if anyone else had recently had loft done and could recommend company.

we have had had major work done including a loft conversion. the guy we got has been fantastic, i have recommended him to everyone i know! his name is mat miles, let me know if you want his number.
they did the loft amazingly quickly but to a high standard, we went to see three houses he had worked on before using him and they were all really pleased. in one road he has done 4 conversions so he must be doing something right!

We've just had a ensuite-bedroom conversion finished by Soundhouse( www.soundhouse.co.uk) and would highly recommend them. They not only did a fantastic job on the loft but turned up on time everyday single day, let us know every step of the way what was going on and when, were extremely courteous and came in right on budget with no fuss. We had a few cowboys in the past so they were a breath of fresh air. We also had some extras done around the house which we used their plumber/electrician/carpenter etc for and they also did excellent work. They've done lots of conversions in Brighton so you should be able to see some finished ones before deciding to go with them - we saw 3 in our area before signing up... hope this helps...

This is very old thread so no longer looking for replies as loft conversion already completed- waterbaby we used Soundhouse too and like you were very impressed!
