While we've lived in Winchester for about a year now, we don’t yet have the local knowledge that comes with being here for many years.
We’re planning a fairly big move (for us, anyway). It’s just me and my husband at the moment, but we’re hoping to start a family next year.
With that in mind, we’re thinking of moving to a slightly bigger house. We’ve found two that stand out: one on Colebrook Street and the other on St Giles Hill.
The house on St Giles Hill is larger, but I’m a little concerned about noise and the fact that it’s on a hill, which might make walking into the centre more tiring, especially with children.
The house on Colebrook Street is a bit smaller with a less ideal layout, but I think it’s in a great location. However, I understand there’s a stream, so I’m slightly worried about the risk of flooding.
We're happy to do the work and remodel for the right place.
