Is there anyone out there who want to exercise like me but has a toddler who is not at nursery yet? I'd really like to meet another Mum who want's to do some jogging and would like to share toddler care with me.
I hope I'm not asking in vain.

Lucy

Hello there,

Just seen your message, although it's from April, so you may have found a jogging buddy and your toddler may not even be a toddler anymore.

I have a toddler (19 months) and a 5 week old and as soon as I have been to the Doctors for my 8 week check up and have been given a clean bill of post pregnancy health I plan to exercise like the frenzy to get rid of this horrible tummy I seem to have been left with.

I used to run before I got pregnant the first time round, but I haven't done that for about two years now, so I'm horrendously unfit and looking to get back into running again. Someone to run with would be great incentive, especially with the kids.

I'm based in Shepperton, so really not too far from Walton at all. Other side of that ricketty old bridge!

So, if you're still looking for someone to accompany you then do let me know. Give me a couple of weeks - got to get to the 8 weeks stage and then I'm out there.

Also, have you heard of buggy fit? I used to do it after my first child and I'm looking to start doing it again. They used to meet in Old Shepperton and do things like running and a variety of exercises specially designed for Mums. As far as I know it's still going, so that might be another good thing to do with your toddler. Again after the 8wks, I'm going to start doing that again.

Look forward to hearing back soon.
