Should my friend move to Lanark?

My friend has an opportunity to move to the Lanark area. In particular Waverley Crescent. Can anyone advise if this is in a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ area/street? He has a disability and his current area isn’t good. I’d hate for him to go from the frying pan into the fire as it were. Any advice from anyone familiar with this area would be much appreciated. TIA

I’ve tried to edit my op, but can’t seem to find how to do it. I got the details wrong, my friends current area is actually ‘good’ and he doesn’t want to move somewhere ‘bad’. It was a previous home where he moved from somewhere not so good to somewhere worse.
