Opinions on Boston in UK needed

Hi all
me and my husband were looking at moving to Boston or surrounding areas.
After reading about there I am now not sure. When I googled the Place it came up that it is a murderous place to live with a high crime rate.
can anyone give me there experiences of living there please. My husband is due to retire.

I don't live there but i am in Lincolnshire. It has low cost housing, but is a deprived area, miles from anywhere. A reputation for being racist A nurse friend did a placement at the hospital and the staff were openly racist
