hello

for those of you in Islington who use Clissold Park...

I hope you can take part in the consultation to make Clissold Park even better....

Clissold Park & House Restoration Project Public Consultation

The Project

A team of professional consultants are currently developing detailed design proposals for the restoration of Clissold Park and House as part of an £8.9m project jointly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Hackney Council.

Further to public consultation in July 2006, a second round of consultation is taking place soon to refine the design proposals. Working with local people and community groups, we will be consulting on specific aspects of the project such as the use of Clissold House, designs for new play and sports facilities, the proposal to extend the New River and the renovation of the animal enclosures.

Consultation Event in Clissold Park ? Saturday, 17th May

We would like to know what you think about the plans for the Park and House, so please come along to meet the team and give us your views. Your feedback will help to develop the final bid for funding which will be submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund in October 2008.

There will be more opportunities to comment as the plans develop at events taking place over the summer. For further information about the project and more ways in which you can get involved, please contact Rob Brown at [email protected].
