Hello all in Hackney
there were a few threads complaining about the playground, equivalents to the old equipment should be installed fairly soon after grand outcry...
for those who are keen to see Clissold Park improved, this is for you: hope you can take part
Clissold Park & House Restoration Project Public Consultation
The Project
A team of professional consultants are currently developing detailed design proposals for the restoration of Clissold Park and House as part of an £8.9m project jointly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Hackney Council.
Further to public consultation in July 2006, a second round of consultation is taking place soon to refine the design proposals. Working with local people and community groups, we will be consulting on specific aspects of the project such as the use of Clissold House, designs for new play and sports facilities, the proposal to extend the New River and the renovation of the animal enclosures.
