We're moving to IOW soon.

DH has family on the island (he grew up there) and some old school friends which is great. None have young children though, so any advice on activities for toddlers and general advice would be gratefully received!

Hi pixel
welcome to the island in advance!
My lo is only 16 months so probably dont know all the toddler things yet but we do local toddler groups and jolly rodger toddler mornings ( soft play in newport) all the usual stuff id say. wld recommend going to the local family information zone (which is nxt to the library in newport)they can give you a booklet with all the local info.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the welcome MM That sounds good, I'll get along to Newport for some info when we get there. We'll be in Cowes so not far away, and MIL works in Newport. (No confirmed moving date yet, but hopefully late May / early June.)

Hi

There is a new 'childrens Centre' recently opened in Cowes ( haven't been yet ) but they hold baby & toddler sessions & have a wealth of information of whats available in the area.

Thanks Flowerbud - we're here now so will go and have a look. At the moment DD (aged 2) is obsessed with spotting boats, so we're in the right place
