Hi There!

I have seen a couple of decent houses in Norbury SW16. I have seen a property in Norton gardens and I am interested but was shocked to read the level of crime online. It looks like a decent areas so just wanted to hear from anyone that has moved to the area, lived in the area or knows the area to let me know what is like. Is it safe ? Good schools? Decent transport? I am planning to visit the area but it would be good to know from other people what’s they think about it.

Thank you so much in advance

Did you look at the house? I live in Norbury and have a friend in Norton Gardens, and actually find Norbury very safe.

It is a bit scruffy but there are lots of friendly people, and active community organisations..

Norbury Manor primary, the nearest to Norton Gardens, is Ofsted Outstanding.

Norbury is great! We’ve lived here for a few years and the housing is very nice. It’s quiet and peaceful, and constantly improving with new coffee shops and restaurants all the time. The train service to Victoria and London Bridge in off peak times is not very frequent but Steve Reed MP is working on that! Norbury is certainly a hidden gem with lots of potential for the future - get here whilst it’s still affordable!

Did you decide to move to Norbury? Are you enjoying it as much as we are?
