We are considering moving from SW London to get a greener and less cramped surroundings (we are also on the edge of a nice area leading into a lesser nice one) but need to get the balance as both work in London. Have 2 kids coming up to primary age so school is basically top priority.
are the catchment areas in guildford a decent size, they are tiny here and it makes the demand on good state schools absolutely insane.
House price we may be ok, where we are we would probs value at 750/800k which would probably get us a larger family home in Guildford...? Is there a good choice of good primary schools?
The main drawback is the commute but it seems working in London has you over a barrel nowadays! Thanks all
