My husband and I are looking to buy our first home. We currently live in Reading. My job means I need to travel to Slough, Oxford and Reading so we are looking at surrounding villages and Burghfield Common has come up.
We have property that is in our budget on Brookside Walk, in Burghfield Common (Burghfield Hill). Is this a nice area of Burghfield?
Please let me know, I appreciate any helpful feedback. The areas we have been looking at are: Pangbourne, Woodcote, Burghfield, Wokingham but Burghfield Common seems to have the most properties popping up in our price range (£350k to £400k). Looking for a 3 bedroom first time house for us to have children in and be happy for the next 5+ years.
