I've been looking to move to Guisborough. I've been to the area but can't say I know it 'road by road' and not local at present. There's a particular road I wanted to ask about....due to caring responsibilities I can't come up and stay for a few days to find out more, so can only make day visits so wondered if I could ask for some local knowledge....any would be appreciated.
The road im looking at is Wilken Crescent. In front of Wilken Crescent is Church Lane which appears to be a main road. Does anyone to what extent the road noise can be heard from Wilken Crescent? Also, does Church Lane get clogged up in rush hour traffic as I live near a main road now that gets backed up and its quite noisey (mainly exhausts from cars at a standstill). I'm not being picky, I just work shifts so will be heading to bed around rush hour but that would be tricky if living in a noisey location.
Another question is the secondary school is just the next road - does this cause problems in terms of noise etc? Any concerns from the locals?
