Parking in Thornbury

Hello, all! We are looking to move to Thornbury, and have found a property that we absolutely love. The only issue is (and it’s a biggie) - it doesn’t have a drive/ allocated parking. Close to the property is Rock Street car park, which is currently free. However, I have seen that this is all about to change and charges are coming in. Does anyone live in a property in Thornbury without allocated parking? - and if so - have you found a suitable, long-term solution? If anyone has any advice or experience they can share, I’d be so grateful! Otherwise it’s back to the drawing board 😢 thank you!

I live in the centre of Thornbury in a cottage which has no allocated parking. I currently park in Pullins Green or Rock Street. I always find somewhere to park !
There isn't really a solution at this stage if Rock St car park becomes chargeable, but I imagine there will need to be residents permits issued. (even if there is a cost). Living in the centre of the town and having accessibility to the High Street shops, restaurants and pubs, outweighs the lack of parking. I love where I live!
