I was wondering if I could get some advice of Chestefield please. I started my house search some time ago but haven't got very far....I actually looked at Chesterfield initally but have since looked at other places and now I'm back to Chesterfield. I was wondering if people who knew the area or were local would be able to help please.
So, one of the main things I'm looking for is quiet walks pretty much on my doorstep. I know the beautiful peak District is just up the road but I really enjoy a local daily walk ( anything over 1.5hours). To be no more than around 1.5 hours walk to the town cente or some shops would be good too.
My budget isn't that big - around £170 for a semi or end terrace. My ideal would be a 3 bed but budget will probably only stretch to a 2 bed.
Im not worried about public transport links as perfer to walk places and unlikely I'll be going to any of the big cities (I do drive I just don't always have car access).
I work from home so commute isn't a problem.
I think the main thing I was struggling with is working out which area has the best walks pretty much on its doorstep. I have alltrials and can see there are some walks to both the east and west of the town but not sure which area was best for walking.
