Hi, this is my first ever post but I was hoping to get some advice…
My family and I are moving to Selsdon around Littleheath Road and I more so than my husband am extremely apprehensive about moving here. We are currently in the process of purchasing this property as we are currently renting in Norbury and without doubt what you get in Selsdon in comparison to what you get in Norbury is significantly different. But I have a few concerns… the house backs off on to Littleheath woods and I just wonder with 3 growing kids, how safe these woods are and whether there is any anti social activity going on in or around the woods. I am also conscious of the schools as at first glance it appears that there are plenty of good schools but upon closer inspection, we fall just outside the distance criteria for the good secondary schools.. I have also read that the traffic around this area is horrendous which means getting a bus to East Croydon station is going to be a nightmare at peak times. I also have 2 growing boys and with Central Croydon being the nearest ‘hangout’ spot, I worry about their safety??
Sorry in advance for the inquisition but I just need to be sure we are making the correct move as i really do like the convenience of living in Norbury?
