Hi, my little boy is nearly 7 months old and with some decent summer weather approaching I'd like the opportunity to take him out and about! He's fascinated by seeing different things and the outdoors but I seem to be running out of age appropriate places to take him, loads of stuff seems to be geared towards toddlers. So far we've done the below multiple times:

Nature centre
Cannon Hill
Claudie's soft play
Botanical Gardens
Swimming
Library

We've also done short breaks to Wales, Weston and the Forest of Dean and have a week in Majorca next week so just looking for something cheap and cheerful/local this week. I know everyone says at 7 months they don't care where they are but I really think he does! He loved the flowers at the botanical gardens and the animals at the zoo, just need a bit of inspiration for anything different if anyone has any ideas!

I was like you. I took mine out and about as much as possible. Now they are in their 20s and don't remember any bloody thing we did from a young age.
So I'd say, chill out and just enjoy whatever you do. A trip to asda is as exciting as a national trust property at that age.

Hi thanks for your response, yes totally understand he definitely won't remember any of it, but tbh it's for me as well, I love taking him to see new things and seeing the excitement on his face, plus they're all places that I enjoy going to as well! My maternity leave finishes at the end of this year so I guess I'm just trying to pack as much into this summer as I can while I've got the chance!
