Looking for some advice on villages in Kent we are considering moving to.
We used to live in Tonbridge for 10 years, which we loved. Surprisingly, we never visited some of these more outlying villages. We no longer need the Grammar Schools as girls in Uni but we do need the mainline Station to London a few times a month for work. We currently live in East Midlands but want to move back to the area. Tonbridge is slightly out of our budget now. So thinking of pushing out a bit to get the property we need.
So advice on either of these villages would be most appreciated. I have heard Marden floods, is this the case? Which village is nicer to live? We both predominantly work from home with occasional travel to London. Also have to consider our Daughter when she comes back from UNI, maybe clubs, societies, transport links or gyms etc. We are hoping to make some visits next month but wanted to gain some local views first.
