My DS starts school in August & we have applied to send him to Edinburgh Academy and Stewart Melville (currently awaiting response on acceptance/decline at the moment).
Depending on that outcome, does anyone have any thoughts on which school they would go with? (I know this would depend on what would suit my DS better, but just looking for some general advice). We don't really have anyone we can ask anecdotally. Both schools seem great tbh.
We are also looking to move later this year, are there any areas near these schools that anyone would recommend? Looking for a nice, safe area that's good to raise a family.
We live in North Edinburgh at the moment, but don't know the area near ESMS very well, bit more familiar with area near EA Junior School.
