Dog walking groups in Berrylands?

Hi all,

I am looking to move to Berrylands in the spring with my family, just wondering if there are any nice local areas to walk my four Great Danes? Also may be looking to join a dog/cat walking group in the local area to meet more yummy mummies.

They're very friendly so we don't use leads, even whilst street walking, so would anyone be able to advise on speed limits in Berrylands?

As if it has speeds of 30+ mph then DH and I may have to invest in some leads and collars.

Thank you

I have no idea about Berrylands as an area, but to walk 4 Great Danes without leads, no matter how friendly, is utterly selfish and ignorant. How do you think people and children will feel, seeing you approaching if they're scared of dogs? I own a giant, well trained breed myself but would never dream of being so arrogant.

Yay so you've discounted Croydon babes - awesome. You'll love Berrylands! And they'll love you Grin

If your kids need any part time jobs just let me know Wink

Not sure about groups, but there are several parks that all back on to one another. There is the one that goes all the way down the back of Elmbridge Avenue. Across the bridge over the Hogsmill there is another park. Across Elmbridge (the Raeburn end) there is another park which you can walk through to Stirling Walk, then another the other side of Stirling Walk where the lido used to be. All parks have LOTS of dog walkers. Enjoy, its a lovely area
