My teens and I are heading up north in summer 2025 to start afresh. We're planning to spend 2 years in York city area while my dd does her a levels. Ds1 is at uni close by and ds 2 will be starting uni somewhere in the region.
We're coming up to York on 19th January for the weekend to look around and wondered if anyone had any top tips for residential areas to visit whilst we are there.
We will have a rental budget of £2k max for a 4 bed place or a purchase budget up to £500k ish.
We currently live in the stix down south so DD is keen to live as close to the city ( and college) as possible.
