My husband & family grew up in Woodingdean until he moved out of the area for work. We currently live in Hampshire and my husband wants to move back to ‘Brighton’ although it’s not Brighton city we’re looking at.
His family are spread across Lancing, Hove and Portslade.
I’m not keen on the move idea but it’s something my husband wanted to do since we met nearly 15 years ago. So I’d like to research and get your advices on this.
I love the countryside. My husband loves the beach. (If possible to be a walking distance to both the South Downs and to the beach) I work from home and occasionally travel into London (once every two weeks). We have a nearly 2 years old. I’m particular about nurseries - prefer Montessori setting and OFSTED Outstanding schools.
I looked at Hove, Southwick and Shoreham-by-Sea.
Any recommendations? Other areas to look at? Family friendly areas?
