Meets ups?

I have only just discovered mumsnet local - just wondering if anyone on here actually meets up....
I have a ds 15.5 mo and ds2 is due in 4 weeks!

we are doing ok thanks, some days are better than others!
ds2 is pretty good, and ds1 is a bit jealous etc but generally ok with his new status of big brother

fancy meeting next week? we could meet at the soft play in leytonstone?

sounds like you're coping really well. Yup, i'd love to meet up next week. can do most days except tues...

better warn you dd can be a bit lively on occasion, (she's hit the terrible 2's in a big way) although hopefully she'll be able to burn off some energy at the soft play!

Hi all- Please put me out of my misery and explain what the various initials such as ds and dd mean - I get the fact that you are referring to various offspring but just can't work out what it's short for and it's driving me mad!!!....I'm sure it's obvious and I'm being an idiot but i just need to know!

ds2 is 11 weeks now, so finally seems to be settling down a bit (touch wood!!)
next time we meet i will bring him along too

we're not too bad thanks - the impending move is stressing me and dp out a bit though! our buyer pulled out and so we've been running round the esate agents praying that someone can sell this place for us!

oh i already asked you that - we should meet up soon - i was thinking maybe the playground in Wanstead or somewhere that's sort of half way for us both to get to? felt bad making you trek all the way to cathall before!
