Due in September

Hi all. Am very new to mumsnet and not quite sure if this thread will work but I'm 14 weeks pregnant due Sept 9th. I already have a 1 year old and met a great group of Mums and babies through antenatal classes. Found it totally invaluable to have a group all doing the same things at the same time and its so lovely for the babies that they're now interacting with each other. Second time round not going to be doing the classes but really keen to meet Mums due around the same time living around Crouch End. Also are there regular meet ups in Crouch End? Am the only one of my baby friends who's not now back at work and would love to meet some other mums.

Hi bekk, welcome to Mumsnet! My DD is 5 months old and a few of us have met up a couple of times and we're hopefully going to be arranging another meet up before too long so watch this space. A lot of us have babies around the 5 or 6 month mark but there are quite a few older as well, and a lot of new arrivals.

I've just returned to work since my DS was born last May. I'm not in Crouch End either but not that far away. Would love to meet you if you're free to meet up ever at weekend times. I'm looking forward to the spring/summer as my baby's just getting to an age to love the parks.

Have you tried getting in touch with the local NCT contact for your area? If you're not doing classes again, it's a way to meet up with people who'll have babies about the age of your 1st and, when no 2 comes along, his or her age too.

Hope we might get to meet some time, but if not you'll find there's a large contingent of mn'ers around Crouch End.
