Just to confirm this as it has appeared on a couple of threads. Shall we say from 2pm ish on Monday 3 March at the Natural Cafe (Crouch End) like last time? Harri1, Mini08, Finland- looking forward to seeing you and meeting new arrivals.

Sorry you can't join us Lucy10- it would be good to see you some other time.

Sebbysmum, you coming too? and anyone else lurking who has a new baby?

Hopefully will make it granny is visiting and not sure what time she's going back but will try our best, would be good to catch up again

elkiedee · 01/03/2008 18:43

Wish I could meet the new babies , Monday's my first day back at work.

There's a nearly new sale in Crouch End next Saturday morning (8 March) if anyone's interested in meeting up there, followed by a trip to the park and/or coffee afterwards (depending on weather). I will be dragging dp along as it's not that easy to take a baby and bargain hunt on your own.

It's at St George's Church Hall, Cranleigh Gardens N10 at 10.30 am - it's on the corner with Park Road and despite the N10 MH postcode, it's probably nearer the centre of Crouch End unless you're coming from the Muswell Hill side.

And if you can't make that one, it's usually on monthly - I've only been to one but we found a few goodies - books, videos and toys as well as clothes.

Thanks for confirming. We will be there at 2pm.

hi all,

we will be there too.... see you then!

m27 · 04/03/2008 10:33

Just a quick note to say hello and thanks for being so friendly yesterday. Sitting in the Natural Cafe yesterday looking about 50 weeks pregnant (but only 39+3), your group invited me to join them over juice and very healthy muffins. Cheers for that! Great to meet other local mums and hear some good birth stories and very reassuring to see how sorted you all looked only a few weeks after the births of your gorgeous babies.

I'd love to stay in touch and meet up with you all again after the birth of my little one. What's the best way of staying in touch?

elkiedee · 04/03/2008 21:37

Welcome m27,

I didn't get to meet you yesterday as I had my baby a whole 10 months ago and started work this week, but I understand the Natural Cafe's become a regular date.

Come back to Mumsnet when you have time - particularly Haringey Local for those you met yesterday, and other mums in the area. There's a due in March 2007 antenatal thread for those expecting their babies this month - those of us due in April last year still talk lots and you'll see that the other postnatal threads are quite active although perhaps not so much.

Do you live in Crouch End? Where are you planning to have your baby?

Let us know if you want advice on mum and baby groups or baby activities in the area. You can start a new thread if your questions haven't been asked already.

There's also lots of advice on everything from feeding to what to buy for a new baby, if you have the energy have a look at the talk threads while you wait for your LO to turn up.

And best of luck for the birth.

m27, I'd love to email you off the board. Would you like to change your preferences so I can CAT you please? (under personal profile, then email options) thanks

Done. I think. I'm also in labour. Or pre-labour. Or may be false labour. Contractions bearable with a TENS but have been every 5-7 minutes since about 2pm. Shit this is scary.

wobbegong · 05/03/2008 18:29

Oooh m27, sounds like the real thing. I am so pleased for you, how clever of you to avoid being induced. I don't want to sound cheesy but soon you are going to meet your baby! That's wonderful! Don't be scared, really honestly, YOU CAN DO IT!!! I'll keep an eye on the computer in case you are still posting!

Ooh exciting! Off to look at March 2008 in case!

m27 · 12/03/2008 11:35

It was the real thing! Arielle Dinah born at 6am Thursday 6th March. A day early after all my predictions that I'd be very overdue, and a girl, contrary to everyone else's expectations! She's so beautiful, currently sleeping in my arms while I'm typing this.

Mercy · 12/03/2008 16:10

Congratualations m27, and welcome Arielle Dinah

elkiedee · 12/03/2008 23:31

Congratulations m27

Lucy10 · 13/03/2008 12:16

Congratulations m27!

Harri1 · 13/03/2008 15:02

Congratulations m27 and what a lovely name. Hope to meet her soon

Mini08 · 15/03/2008 20:02

yes congratulations m27... let us know when you are ready to venture out.

Harri1 · 18/06/2008 12:22

Hello ladies,
Just wondering if you are still around for meet ups.
Would love to know how you and you lo's are getting on

elkiedee · 24/06/2008 12:48

I'm back at work but would be interested in meet ups, particularly from August on as July is looking busy. I have quite a bit of annual leave to take by Christmas and no long holidays planned (pre-baby we used to go to the US for a fortnight and I'd take extra days off to recover from jetlag).
