Train strike 2nd Sept - how do I get to Kingston?

Hello,

Northerner here šŸ‘‹.

I’m staying in Sutton 3 nights from Friday 1st Sept to the Monday 4th. Train is booked from up here in the north.

Now that the RMT has, again, announced further train strikes, I’m going to have to change my plans. I’m thinking of going to Kingston and walking through Bushy Park to Hampton Court Palace. How can I get to Kingston Centre from Sutton Town Centre (near the railway station)? Is there a bus that goes that way?

TIA.

Download Citymapper and it will give you all options

Oh, forgot to say. I’m changing my plans for the Saturday (when the trains are on strike).

If there is a bus from Sutton to Richmond I can always go there instead of Kingston.

I've had a quick look and it is the x26 then another bus from Sutton station to Hampton Court station.
