Hi all. I have a dilema and hope anyone can give advise on this please?
my husband and I have been wanting to move further into Kent for about 10 years now. We have 2 children. Both boys. 11 and 8. We loved the idea of the coast but lately we’re drawn to Canterbury as it has a fantastic location being close to pretty much everything. We’re also doing this move because we know we could get more for our money further out too. (Moving from Bexley) so we’d love to downsize our mortgage but still have a similar sized property. We’ve been looking at the new builds in Hersden which look lovely but everything I read about it people say avoid it and avoid Sturry? Is it really that bad? I want to move somewhere where I feel safe raising my 2 children.
Also can anyone give information about schools in the area too? The Spires academy, Canterbury Academy,St Anselms school and Primary schools? They all seem to be oversubscribed anyway and it would be the case of you get what you get, but would be nice to know what people think of them?
