Welcome to Gosport!
What area of Gosport are you in?

I used to go to a toddler group at the baptist church in Stoke Rd. It's on a Wednesday am though there may be a waiting list.

Also, the Discovery Centre' Rhyme Time(singing nursery rhymes) and storytime , depending on age of your children, are v good and free.

The local NCT publish a guide to Gosport for those with kids 0-5 years which has list of groups in it. They may have a copy in the library.
Good luck

Sorry only just seen this!

There is a nice mum and toddler group in the Welcome Centre, Copse Lane, on a Thursday morning from 0930-1100.

All local libraries seem to do Storytime (days and times vary, where are you living?) and as Verona has said the 0-5 guide is great for local goings-on.

Hi. There is a fantastic parent/carer and baby/toddler group at St. Francis church hall on tuesday mornings, 9.45 until 11.15. It is on Clayhall road in Alverstoke.

Hi I'm in gosport too and a new mum. We've only lived here a year but as I was pregnant and working full time I was too tired to do anything about meeting people by the time I got home!! I too am looking for baby groups to go to to get some adult conversation while hubby is at work! Where can i get this 0-5 guide that you have mentioned?

Sidge · 27/05/2008 21:55

Your HV should have one Sam, otherwise the local libraries have them too.

Hi. I work at the Tree House Children's Centre, which is based within the grounds of Elson Infant School. We have many different groups that run on a daily basis which would suit babies to children under 5 years. All of our groups run free of charge. if you would like more details, please ask or call 02392 583208.

Can't do links [doh emotion] but you'll find it usually at the top of portmouth local threads. We are Gosport, Fareham, Cosham and Portsmouth.
