Thoughts on Lancing West Sussex

I’m hoping to move from london to West Sussex - I’ve seen a house I like in lancing but I’m wary there are good parts and parts to avoid in Lancing!
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

(I’ve heard around Tower Road is rough)?

Not great.

Tower road, Addison close off the high street and pretty much all of the mash barn estate. The new cala homes should be accessible from the A27 once they finish phase 2 - currently you have to go through mash barn to get there. Sompting, north lancing and pretty much everywhere else is fine!

Shops wise, you've got a few local ones, Worthing is dwindling and Brighton is close enough for odd trips but I wouldn't go there on a weekly basis say.
